These workshops are usually conducted in day long time frames, but can be designed for as long (or as short) of a period as you desire. Workshops are lecture style, with discussions and interactive sketches that address many issues, such as: governance vs. management, how to avoid micro-management, the importance of following your personnel policies, how to monitor and evaluate the Executive Director, and how to get pass the famous words "its always been done this way"!
